Welcome to Markle Professional Counseling
Hello! I am Dr. Shana Markle and I specialize in providing psychotherapy for high-achieving adults who may appear to have it all together but actually struggle with anxiety, loneliness, or insecurity. As a licensed psychologist (Indiana #20042432A), I offer personalized psychotherapy tailored to your unique needs. At Markle Professional Counseling, I use a therapy approach that combines proven interventions to help you gain insight and feel better. I prioritize creating a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard and understood. My clients benefit from just the right balance of “the art and science of therapy” to create hope and change.
If you’re unsure whether you need therapy or are hesitant about starting with a new therapist, don’t hesitate to reach out. Together, we can explore how psychotherapy can bring you meaningful change, deeper connections, and more fulfillment in your life.
Psychotherapy for Adults Looking For Well-Being and Satisfying Relationships
I take pride in meeting clients where they are, truly understanding their needs, and creating a tailored case conceptualization that guides their journey of growth and change.
Some of the most common challenges I help are Depression and Anxiety, Eating and Body Image Concerns, Grief/Loss, Life Transitions, Low Self-Worth, Career Stress/Decisions, General Support and Personal Growth. My area of expertise is focused on All Types of Relationship Concerns. This includes Healing from Your Dysfunctional Family, Managing Your Adult Relationship with Your Parents, Dissatisfaction in Your Romantic Relationship, and Navigating Difficult People in Your Life. If you have a difficult time with others not respecting your boundaries, are in the midst of a significant life transition, feel lost and unsure of your identity, or put others’ needs before your own, I would love to work with you! I also have a special skillset for working with College Students, Adults Questioning Their Relationship With Alcohol, and Adults Trying to Manage ADHD. Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we will ever do.
